Mental Health Crisis

A mental health crisis, is a general human response to a life event that an individual perceives as stressful and unable to cope with. It may be caused by a developmental life stage, a difficult or traumatic situation or existential fears related to life purpose, direction and life meaning. Subsequently, you may experience the following:

Suicidal thoughts
A feeling of being unreal
Dissociation
Changes in Weight
Decreased performance at work
Insomnia/Sleeping Difficulties
Sudden changes in mood
Withdrawal social situations/activities/people

Intensive Psychotherapy

If you are seeking help for a mental health crisis, you will be making a commitment to an intensive Psychotherapy treatment of 4 times per week for 12 weeks. During this time, you will meet with a dedicated Psychotherapist who will help you to work through the intensity of your emotional distress. Once the Crisis period is over, the intensity of the Psychotherapy will be reduced.
